I was surprised to find this at my local closeout store, and I just happened to be out of coffee filters and needed a basket style replacement so this fit the bill. Having only seen gold tone permanent filters my expecations were not too high. This particular filter was just slightly smaller than what I expected, however it performed perfectly and no water or coffee spilled over. I guess that’s why they named it “Fitz All”. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and smooth the coffee tasted. The filter cleans up so easily, just rinse and set on top of your coffee maker until it’s needed. No coffee residue remained anywhere in this filter, and the coffee did taste better than when I make it with the paper filter. Overall I’m very happy with this product and would buy it again.

This little filter is a great addition to my new coffee/tea maker ensemble. I am especially fond of it’s ability to filter out loose tea leaves after brewing in the carafe. It was a little pricey for what it is, but since I don’t have to buy paper filters any more, I’m happy.
